Cubaball Tours was created by Bob's brother Kit as a way to travel to The People's Paradise more often. Since 2001 Cubaball has taken groups of Americans and Canadians, many of whom are members of the SABR (The Society of American Baseball Research), on baseball tours all over the island. Itineraries feature games of the Cuban National Series, visits to sites tied to Cuba's rich baseball past, meetings with players past and present, political seminars and cultural events. Cubaballistas have befriended some incredible people along the way including the legendary Conrado Marrero, the late Martin Dihigo Jr, Enrique Diaz (Cuba's Ricky Henderson) and Cuban national team manager, Victor Mesa... not to mention political, diplomatic and cultural icons.

Due to an outbreak of dengue fever in Havana and the continuing economic and energy crisis in Cuba we've been forced to cancel the upcoming November Cubaball tour. We'll monitor the situation with hopes that things will improve soon. Stay tuned.

We often hold a raffle to raise funds for our remaining friends struggling in Cuba. Participants' generosity has proven to be extremely helpful, especially in these difficult times. Prizes include an original baseball card caricature by Bob for the winner.
