Bob Krieger drew cartoons for The (Vancouver) Province newspaper for 32 years, 29 on the Editorial Page and three in Sports. Krieger's cartoon won the one and only Best in Show at the 2005 Halifax convention of the Association of Canadian Editorial Cartoonists.
When the paper decided to cease running cartoons in December of 2012 he was optioned to the web desk. He left The Province in 2013 to look after his father who almost made it to the century mark. Krieger continues to pursue his love of cartooning, portraiture, painting, travel, baseball and spleen-venting.
